Let's Take A Closer Look

Bristol International Airport
The gateway to West Country antiques

The blue highlighted area in the outline map of the UK below on the right is enlarged to show the principle town's and cities of the West Country in red with the main antiques venues in blue.

Location Guide

Bristol Airport is situated 8 miles south-west of the city of Bristol with a direct link via the main A38 trunk road, it is well served by a fleet of airport taxis which can be booked from the desk in the Arrivals Hall. An express coach service, the Bristol International Flyer runs every 20 minutes from outside the terminal building directly to Bristol Coach Station and Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station, the journey time is 20 to 30 minutes. From both these stations it is possible to link directly to most of the destinations listed in red above.

Four Car-Hire companies have offices at the airport, but if you need something a little larger, such as a goods vehicle we'll be pleased to supply you with local contacts who will provide information of their services.

As you will see from the map above, distances are relatively small, and though not shown on our map above the City of Bristol has direct links to the British Motorway network in north, south, east and westerly directions. At this point we would like to offer a little of our local knowledge, our road system is good, extensive and well sign-posted but notoriously busy. Visitors will find themselves saving much time by avoiding journeys at peak-times if possible.
