Our Terms
The services we provide are predominantly antiques tours. Three
other services you will almost certainly require when booking with us
are accommodation, shippers and air or sea passenger services, we do not
supply these but we will be pleased to discuss with you what options are
available. What
We Provide - On receipt of your initial enquiry we will discuss your
requirements and the antiques items you are seeking with you by email or
telephone. If you request us to do so we will provide an itinerary based
on your arrival and departure points for the number of days you have
specified for your tour, there is no minimum to the length of our tours.
Tours can operate over any seven day period, however except where
appointments are made for 'Preferred Viewing' we are bound and
restricted by opening hours of individual trades people and venues on any day.
We will submit our itinerary and inclusive cost of our services to you
for your approval and make any adjustments that may be required.
Our itinerary will include daily collection times from your
accommodation, locations we will visit that day, approximate timings of
our route and where your tour will finish for that day.
Where specific items have been pre selected for viewing we will on your
behalf make appointments with vendors and re-schedule timings if
required due to any unforeseen circumstances.
Your daily transport will be a five seat (including drivers seat) saloon
car and driver. Our tours are restricted to a maximum of three
passengers who are traveling together. Luggage is restricted to a
maximum of one suitcase per person, other items accommodated as
possible.
Antiques purchases made on route are carried in the vehicle at own risk where space
permits and will wherever possible be transferred to designated shippers
on a daily basis.
Food and drinks are not normally supplied on a daily basis as part of
our quotation and our itinerary will allow for a mid-day meal break at
clients own expense. However we will provide the option if required when
planning your itinerary to include a packed lunch.
On Acceptance Of Our Quotation.
We will request a deposit of £100.00 payable by bank transfer.
Two Weeks Before Your Tour Starts.
We will request payment of the balance of your quotation by bank transfer. What We
Cannot Guarantee - Whilst every effort will be made to ensure good availability of stock at dealers’ premises no guarantee can be provided that items previously indicated as available will remain on sale at time of
your visit.
Cost Of Your Tour - Our tours are created on an individual basis,
therefore two quotations are never the same. However as a guideline
daily costs are from £295.00 (GB Pounds) inclusive of VAT. What
We Do Not Provide.
Accommodation - We will offer you the best alternatives available
on our route for your approval and acceptance, which once received will
be reserved on your behalf. All charges of the accommodation provider
for which you are liable are payable by you by whichever means are
acceptable to the provider either on arrival or departure of the
accommodation. Shipping
- We will introduce you to our preferred shippers or you may choose
others of your own choice. Your contract will be solely between your
chosen Company and yourself and all charges are payable by you by
whichever means are acceptable to the shipper under their terms and
conditions. Air
and Sea Services - We do
not offer passenger services to Great Britain. Our tours are subject to
individual quotation and unless specified operate solely within Great
Britain only.
