I'm Ron Heath, owner of The Great British Antiques Web.

If you are planning an antiques visit to England soon and perhaps could do with a little help to ensure your visit goes according to plan, I'd be delighted to hear from you.

Our business is based in Bristol, in the heart of the West of England, and central to what we believe is probably the best antiques area in Britain.

Before I go any further, please let me tell you a little bit about The Great British Antiques Web. Our services extend to promote the British antiques trade through a searchable online database which covers everything from fairs, antique centres, dealers, associations and shippers. We also carry listings of hotels, B&B's, car and van hire services.

From the information we have compiled in our database I want to pass on to you the benefits of our vast local knowledge, so that you can get the best out of your English antiques visit, whether you are an antiques professional who has visited Great Britain on numerous antiques buying visits in the past, a connoisseur collector who insists on quality, or if you simply enjoy collecting antiques for pleasure and would like to include some antiques browsing during your trip to Britain but want to ensure that you'll get the best from your visit, I'd be delighted to help you if I can.

Tell us about the stock you are looking for, we'll help you source it and plan your itinerary including your overnight stops. If you prefer to drive yourself with a car or goods vehicle we can offer unbiased information of who to book with. We can also help you with packers, shippers and air cargo agents to ensure your goods are delivered safely and securely to your door.

Our Chauffeured Services, usually limited to a maximum of four passengers will save you time, our car and driver will be waiting at your airport of arrival and will get you on the road to your first call as quickly as possible. Our rates are per day, irrespective of time and mileage and we do not accept commissions from vendors so you can be sure that there are no hidden add-ons to your purchases. You will also benefit from our in-depth knowledge of the UK to ensure your visit goes to plan and overcome any unforeseen problems quickly and easily.

The Connoisseur Collector
Very similar needs to the Professional, but perhaps with a little more time to consider purchases, particularly as you may be viewing items for your own home.
